Dr. Leonard George Bendikas is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Des Plaines for the past forty-two years. His practice includes general ophthalmology, contact lens fittings, treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, eye infections and macular degeneration. Dr. Bendikas performs eye surgery and treats diseases of the eye, especially in the elderly.
Dr. Michael J. Paxhia is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical diseases of the retina. He was previously on the faculty at Duke University Eye Center. He also served as a part-time clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. His focus areas include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other retinal vascular diseases.
